N95 Respirator Manufacturers

production of 400.000 units per day

N95 masks are examples of personal protective equipment used to protect the wearer from particles or liquids contaminating the face. The N95 mask has been recommended by US experts as the best protection from SARS. The mask has a BFE (Bacterial Filtration Efficiency) of >99%. N95 masks are the US equivalent of Europe. The masks are designed for use in infection control applications. N95s and similar high-filtration respirators provide the best protection against COVID-19. In addition, these masks are ISO and CE certified with B+C2 test reports.

Wholesale Respirator N95 Mask

This is a tight-fitting mask which ensures air does not leak into the nose or mouth from sides. It also comes with an air-filtration system which prevents micro-organisms and toxic gases from entering the respiratory tract.

While there are different types of respirator masks available, for various purposes, in the present context of protection against Covid-19, N95 mask is most relevant.

N95 Mask : An N95 mask or N95 respirator is a particulate-filtering face piece respirator that meets the U.S. National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) N95 classification of air filtration, meaning that it filters at least 95% of airborne particles. N95 Mask respirators are considered functionally equivalent to N95 Mask , which some manufacturers distribute in Turkey.

This is good enough to reduce the transmission of the virus by 70%. This mask is recommended for health workers who are exposed to a higher viral load, and for a longer period of time.

N95 masks come in 2 types : with and without a valve. Please note, the N95 mask with a valve should not to be used as it only protects the user and not the people around him/her. This means, an infected person who is wearing a N95 mask with valve will continue to breathe out microbes that can infect others.

How are wholesale N95 Masks Made?

The medical wholesale N95 respirator consists of multiple layers of nonwoven fabric, often made from polypropylene. The two outward protective layers of fabric, covering the inside and outside of the mask, are created using spun bonding. Spun bonding uses nozzles blowing melted threads of a thermoplastic polymer (often polypropylene) to layer threads between 15-35 micrometers on a conveyor belt, which build up into cloth as the belt continues down the line. Fibbers are then bonded using thermal, mechanical, or chemical techniques.

The two outer layers of the respirator, between 20 and 50 g/m2 in density, act as protection against the outside environment as well as a barrier to anything in the wearer’s exhalations.

Between the spun bond layers there’s a pre-filtration layer, which can be as dense as 250 g/m2, and the filtration layer. The prefiltration layer is usually a needled nonwoven. Nonwoven material is needle punched to increase its cohesiveness, which is accomplished by sending barbed needles repeatedly through the fabric to hook fibers together.

The prefiltration layer is then run through a hot calendaring process, in which plastic fibers are thermally bonded by running them through high pressure heated rolls. This makes the pre-filtration layer thicker and stiffer, so it can be molded to form the desired shape and stay in that shape as the mask is used.

Your chance of severe COVID-19

If you’re at higher risk of getting a severe case of COVID-19, wearing a mask will help keep you safe. It can also be a good idea to talk to your doctor about monoclonal antibodies and other treatments that can reduce your chance of severe COVID-19. You may be at greater risk of getting a severe case of COVID-19 if:

  • You haven’t gotten the COVID-19 vaccine.
  • You aren’t fully vaccinated or haven’t gotten your booster shot.
  • You’re moderately to severely immunocompromised.
  • You have a chronic health condition like obesity, diabetes, kidney disease, cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure or lung disease. You’re middle aged or older.

How long can you wear a N95 mask?

You may be able to reuse a N95 mask a few times, as long as you take care of your mask between uses. But it really depends on where you’re wearing the mask and for how long.

If you’re wearing one of these masks for a few hours a day and you’re social distancing from people, you might be able to wear the same mask for a week or so. But if you live in an area with high community transmission and spend 8 hours or more around people who might have COVID-19, it’s probably safer to toss your mask at the end of the day.

How do I reuse a N95 mask?

If you’re planning on reusing your mask, you’ll want to be more careful about how you take it off and store it. When you’re done wearing it, use clean hands to pull it off by the ear straps so you don’t touch the front. Then store the mask separately so it can’t touch your other items – perhaps in its own paper bag.

When it’s time to use the mask again, pick it up with clean hands and make sure it doesn’t have rips or tears before putting it on again. You’ll also want to be sure that the mask still fits well.

And, of course, any time you touch a mask that’s been used – whether you’re taking it off or putting it on – you should wash your hands to make sure you remove any germs that may have been on the outside of the mask.

What are some tips to make wearing a mask easier?

Sometimes it’s hard to know where your day will take you, so keeping a small stash of masks in your car, purse, backpack and office makes it easy to grab one and go – no matter what’s on your schedule.

Wearing a mask doesn’t have to be a drag. N95 masks come in a variety of colors so you’re not limited to plain white face coverings. You could wear a mask that shows off your favorite sport or animal, or choose a mask that matches your outfit. Look at masks as a way to express yourself!
